Roman, 38, also won gold at the 2012 World Championships and brought home silver medals in 2013 and 2017. Last season was his most prolific statistical year in international competition, where he tallied five goals and five assists in 12 games, including four points in Team USA's five-game run to the gold medal at the 2019 Para Ice Hockey World Championships. He has played in 100 career games for USA Sled Hockey  — the eighth most appearances in team history. He could see his total climb this season, sending him as high as fifth place on the all-time games played list.
