But the Quincey’s Colorado hockey family was there to support them.

“Immediately our friends started sending dinners to our door and just reaching out,” Rachel Quincey said. “People said prayers and sent positive vibes. The hockey community really stepped up to support us.”

Kyle Quincey agreed, adding, “We’re grateful for the support we’ve gotten. That goes for the hockey community, and especially for our friends in Denver and around the country.

"It stinks that it takes something like this to see the love and support you have, but it has been pretty amazing to come together as it has,” he continued.
