When Fort Collins and Regis Jesuit kick off this weekend's slate of CPHL games on Friday afternoon, both teams will be looking to get back into the win column.

After opening the season with six consecutive victories and outscoring opponents 36-15 along the way, Fort Collins lost in overtime to Cherry Creek 4-3 on Oct. 10. Despite the loss, the Lambkins (6-0-0-1, 3-0-0-1) remain tied with Denver East atop the Pacific Conference standings, while the Raiders (4-2-0, 2-2-0) are in fourth place and three points behind.

Erik Brink and Nolan Williamson, with nine goals each, and Aidan Beck, with eight goals, give Fort Collins a potent scoring punch. Defenseman Marek Thompson has 15 assists and Nolan Devine has nine.

Noah Winbourn has a 3-1-0 record and  3.20 goals-against average in 207 minutes for the Lambkins. Sam Simon, whose 84 saves in a five-overtime CHSAA state championship game loss to Valor Christian last spring tied a national record, is 3-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA in 153 minutes.

Regis Jesuit lost 6-4 to Denver East on Oct. 9, ending its winning streak at two games. 

Robbie Dembeck has four goals to lead the Raiders. Nicholas Bowers and Carter Schick have three each while Brody Sannes has two goals and four assists.

Gage Bussey has played the lion's share of minutes (238) in goal for the Raiders and has a 3-2-0 record with a 2.02 GAA.
