The Rocky Mountain RoughRiders held their annual Kickoff Combine on Sunday, August 25th with the teams participating in a series of testing and educational seminars.

The players and families heard from each of our partners regarding the services and benefits they provide to our athletes.  Families also had the opportunity to hear from our special guest, Joe Doyle, Air Force Academy Hockey Assistant Coach.  Coach Doyle shared his insight and perspective regarding Junior and Collegiate hockey.

The players completed a baseline concussion test with Synapse Physical Therapy, EKG screening conducted by Play with Heart, and combine style physical fitness tests with Impact Sports.  The athletes attended a SafeSport awareness class and a Concussion Education seminar presented by the Cornerstone Foundation.

We believe as an organization, with the amazing resources at the Sport Stable, we have the opportunity to create a winning hockey environment that is world-class and highly unique for hockey in the US.  This event demonstrates our focus on investing in top hockey talent that will be successful here and at the next level.  Our focus is not only on the hockey but we want to create well-rounded athletes that are cared for by the organization in a tightly integrated community.

The RoughRiders are fortunate to be part of such an amazing facility that houses the best in the business!

Thank you to each of our partners!
