CO Hockey Hub Player of the Week revealed: Sept. 27-Oct. 3

Hub exclusive: We spotlight several CPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Player of the Week

Connor Hasse, Denver East. Hasse scored twice and added three assists to guide Denver East to a 7-3 victory over Hyland Hills 18U AA on Oct. 2. Hasse has a team-best 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists) in the regular season.

Player of the Week candidates

 

Bryce Elliott, Columbine. The Rebels' offense was rolling and Elliot was the conductor on Oct. 3. Elliott tallied three goals and three assists in a 7-2 triumph over Chatfield on Oct. 3.

Sam Simon, Fort Collins. The senior goaltender was tested frequently on Oct 3. He stopped 35 shots through two periods, and 44 shots total, to help the Lambkins upend previously unbeaten Valor Christian 5-3. The performance helped boost Simon's season stats, as he's posted a .937 save percentage and 2.0 goals-against average in the regular season.

Logan Hunter, Pine Creek. Hunter stopped 33 of 35 shots to preserve Pine Creek’s 3-2 win against Heritage on Oct. 3.

Seth Kern, Columbine. Bryce Elliott’s partner-in-crime, Kern, scored a goal in each period of his team's 7-2 defeat of Chatfield on Oct. 3. He also had two assists in the Rebels' win.
