CO Hockey Hub Player of the Week Revealed: Oct. 11-17

Hub exclusive: We spotlight several CPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Player of the Week Winner

Brayden Johnson, Castle View. After surrendering the game’s opening goal on Oct. 17, Johnson didn’t falter. He made 35 saves to aid Castle View in its 5-2 victory over Vail.

Player of the Week candidates

Cameron Schoffman, Heritage. After facing just two shots in the first period against Vail on Oct. 16, Schoffman faced an onslaught in the remaining two periods. He finished with 29 saves to earn his first shutout of the season in a 3-0 triumph.

Sean Holloway, Regis Jesuit. The junior forward had his first multi-goal game this season and he tallied a pair of assists to record four points on Oct. 16 in the Raiders’ 6-1 victory over Fort Collins.

Chase Coisman, Ralston Valley. Coisman struck early, scoring the Mustangs’ first goal to open the floodgates in a 19-1 throttling of Pine Creek on Oct. 17. Coisman finished the game with four goals and an assist. 

Connor Haake, Hyland Hills. In addition to registering 29 saves, Haake held Ralston Valley scoreless through the first two periods to help the Jaguars mount a 3-2 defeat of the Mustangs on Oct. 16.
