Player of the Week Winner

C.J. Braccia, Castle View. Braccia stopped all 20 shots he faced for his second shutout of the season in a 4-0 victory over Columbine on Oct. 25.

Player of the Week candidates

 

Aidan Tucker, Cherry Creek. Tucker jumpstarted Cherry Creek by recording two assists on Oct. 23 in the opening period of the Bruins’ 6-4 win over Castle View. The senior forward added a pair of goals to notch a season-high four-point performance.

Noah Winbourn, Fort Collins. Winbourn stopped 20 of the first 21 shots he faced through two periods on Oct. 23 to ease Fort Collins to a 6-2 defeat of Vail. He finished with 29 saves.

Lathan Olson, Castle View. Olson brought Castle View within striking distance of Cherry Creek in a 6-4 loss on Oct. 23. He completed a hat trick with a pair of third-period goals to tie the game with 10 minutes remaining before the Bruins pulled away late.

Devin Strong, Ralston Valley. Strong put the Mustangs’ 7-0 shutout of Vail on ice by assisting on three goals and adding a goal for four points on Oct. 24.
