Player of the Week Winner

Ralston Valley's Brodi Gomez edged out Castle View's Turner Davis by a mere two-vote margin (308-306). Read Gomez's Player of the Week-winning performance below:


Brodi Gomez, Ralston Valley. Gomez helped the Mustangs take a two-goal lead through two periods of their 6-1 victory over Cherry Creek on Oct. 30, stopping all 18 shots. He finished the game with 25 saves.

Player of the Week candidates


Jack Eastabrooks, Vail. Eastabrooks was vital in ending Vail's six-game losing skid by scoring the overtime game-winner in a 3-2 victory over Parker-Chaparral on Oct. 30. The defenseman also recorded an assist on the tying goal with under six minutes left in the third period.  

Turner Davis, Castle View. Davis tallied four assists in the first two periods of the Sabercats' 9-2 rout of Centaurus on Oct. 30. 

Blake Ostrander, Heritage. Ostrander bounced back from allowing the game's first goal on Oct. 30 by finishing with 28 saves in a 2-1 win against Columbine.

Jackson Mundell, Parker-Chaparral. Mundell scored one goal in each period on Halloween to keep the Wolverines competitive in a 5-4 loss to Castle View.
