And the winner is... CO Hockey Hub Player of the Week revealed: Nov. 1-7

Hub exclusive: We spotlight several CPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Player of the Week Winner

Lathan Olson, Castle View. The senior forward jumpstarted the Sabercats by posting primary assists on three of Castle View’s first four goals on Nov. 6 in an 8-1 rout of Pine Creek. He finished the contest with four helpers.

Player of the Week candidates


Sam Simon, Fort Collins. The senior goaltender stopped 34 of 35 shots through the first two periods on Nov. 7 to protect Fort Collins' lead en route to a 3-2 Lambkins' victory over Regis Jesuit. Simon finished with 45 saves — good for a .957 save percentage in the winning effort.

Chase Chapman, Cheyenne Mountain (Tier 2). Chapman dished a game-tying assist in the first period and scored the game-winning goal a period later on Nov. 7 to lead the Tier 2 Indians to a 2-1 triumph over Cherry Creek's Tier 1 team.

Cameron Schoffman, Heritage. Schoffman made 45 saves, including 22 through the third period and overtime, to help the Eagles force Castle View to a 3-3 tie on Nov. 7.

Tanner Freed, Monarch. Freed’s game-winning goal with three minutes left in a matchup with Parker-Chaparral on Nov. 7 capped a four-point outing for the senior forward who lifted the Coyotes to a 6-4 victory.
