Other games to keep an eye on

Monarch vs. Fort Collins, 8:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19: Two of No. 8-5A Monarch's three losses this season — 3-2 on Feb. 5 and 3-0 a day later — have come against No. 2-5A Fort Collins (3-0). Is the third time the charm for the Coyotes (3-3) in this Class 5A matchup?

Heritage vs. Mountain Vista, 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20: Each team has a pair of losses to ranked teams. Heritage (4-2), from the Class 5A, Metro Conference, stumbled 6-2 to open the season against No. 7-5A Denver East on Feb. 3 and suffered its other blemish in a 3-1 decision to No. 6-5A Cherry Creek on Feb. 9. Mountain Vista (3-2), from the South Conference of Class 5A, lost 6-0 to No. 5-5A Chaparral on Feb. 2 and 3-0 to No. 3-5A Valor Christian on Feb. 6. This cross-conference clash ought to make for a good matchup.
