Calvin Polon, Denver East. Polon's first hat trick of the season couldn’t have come at a better time as the senior forward scored all three of the Angels’ goals at even strength in a 3-0 shutout of Cherry Creek on Feb. 27.
Fraser Smith, Colorado Academy. The freshman made 21 consecutive saves through the first two periods on Feb. 24, helping Colorado Academy take a 3-0 lead over Rampart into the game's second intermission. Smith weathered a 15-shot barrage in the final period to finish with 35 saves in his team's 4-1 triumph.
Ryan King, Pueblo County. King spearheaded a Hornets' surge, playing a hand in five of Pueblo County’s final six goals to close a 9-3 rout of Woodland Park on Feb. 25. He assisted a go-ahead goal in the second period and put the game on ice, finding the net four times the rest of the way to give him a game-high five points.
Cedric Choi, Kent Denver. The goalie withstood a 51-shot flurry that included seven penalty kills to carry Kent Denver to a 4-2 win against Mullen on Feb. 26. Choi finished the game with 49 saves and a .961 save percentage.
Easton Burg, Mountain Vista. Burg found the back of the Castle View net, assisted a go-ahead goal and added another goal of his own in a span of nine minutes in the middle period to lift the Golden Eagles to a 9-3 victory on Feb. 26. He finished the game with three goals and two assists as Mountain Vista’s leading scorer with 14 goals and 12 assists.
