Lady Rough Riders 16U, Krivo 14U teams attempt to reach the summit with a national championship in their home state

The teams are two of 72 competing in the 2021 USA Hockey-Chipotle Girls Tier II 14U National Championships this weekend in Denver.

Seventy-two of the best girls’ youth hockey teams across the country are converging on Colorado from April 28 to May 3 to win a title in one of the divisions of the 2021 Chipotle-USA Hockey Girls Tier II National Champion. Two of those hopefuls aim to keep the celebration in the home state.

The Lady Rough Riders begin their quest for a title in pool play on Thursday with an 11 a.m. game against the Anaheim Lady Ducks and follow with a game against Florida Alliance at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, and Team South Dakota at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Krivo begins pool play Thursday at 6:50 p.m. against the Princeton Tiger Lillies (N.J.) and the face the Glenview Stars on Friday at 1 p.m.
