Player of the Week Winner

Benjamin Kluza, Denver East - I. Kluza scored the game’s opening goal and set the tone for the torrid pace the Angels carried in a 13-1 drubbing of HTB on May 2. He finished the game with four goals and an assist.

Player of the Week candidates

 

Lathan Olson, DC/CV. Olson broke a 1-1 tie with a pair of first-period goals that paced DC/CV to a 7-2 rout of Parker Knights on April 26. He finished the game with three goals and two assists for five points total.

Jacob Simpson, Ralston Valley. Simpson was the lead Mustang in Ralston Valley’s 13-1 rout of Arvada West, tallying three goals and three assists on May 1.

Ben Wiener, Fairview. Wiener notched his first hat trick of the season in timely fashion, scoring the game-winner of a 7-6 nail-biter with Collins/Poudre on April 30. He also had an assist for four points total.

Pierson Klem, Mountain Ice - I. Klem notched a natural hat trick by scoring three consecutive first-period goals in an 11-1 victory over Mountain Vista on May 1. He went on to add a trio of second-period goals and an assist in the third period for a seven-point outing.
