Lathan Olson, DC/CV. Olson tallied a goal and four assists to help DC/CV claim a 10-5 win against North Alliance on May 29.

Player of the Week candidates

 

Thomas Gilbert, Collins/Poudre. Gilbert didn't get off to the best start, as he gave up the game’s opening goal in the first minute of action. He bounced back to stop 27 total shots and register a save percentage of .964 in Collins/Poudre’s 7-1 win against Denver East II on May 30.

Liam Casey, DC/CV. Casey notched a natural hat trick late in the second period to put DC/CV in the driver’s seat of a 7-4 victory over Mountain Vista on May 28. He also had an assist for four points total.

Blaise Gorman, Arapahoe. Gorman stopped all 21 shots he faced in the first two periods of Arapahoe’s 4-1 victory over Denver East II on May 28. He stopped 31 of 32 shots faced for a .969 save percentage.

Garrett Soehner, Arvada West. Soehner scored four unanswered goals, including three to close the first period, to kickstart a 10-1 rout of Longmont II on May 28. He added an assist in the third period to finish with five points.
