Hub exclusive: We spotlight several CPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Players of the Week

Jacob Strawn, Mountain Vista T1. Strawn strung together back-to-back four-goal performances in a pair of wins over Pine Creek T1 (9-2, Oct. 7) and Steamboat Springs T1 (6-1, Oct. 8). He took hold of the CPHL scoring lead last week, scoring 11 goals in five games to set his total to 13 goals on the season.

Branden Desouza-Chen, Monarch T2. Desouza-Chen played a hand in four goals, scoring twice and adding a pair of assists in a 7-0 shutout of Resurrection Christian T2 on Oct. 9.

Garrett Linville, Cherry Creek T2. Linville set the tone with a game-opening goal two minutes into an 8-0 shutout of Vail/Battle Mountain T2 on Oct. 9. He added two assists and a second goal for four points total.

Gage Bussey, Regis Jesuit Red T1. Bussey notched his second shutout of the season, stopping all 26 shots he faced in a 1-0 victory over Cherry Creek T1 on Oct. 8.

Dylan Faulhaber, Ralston Valley T2. Faulhaber scored a crucial shorthanded tying goal to close the first period and give the Mustangs all the momentum in a 7-1 win against Mullen T2 on Oct. 9. He added a goal 21 seconds into the final period to give his team a two-goal edge and capped his first hat trick of the regular season late in regulation.
