And the winner is... CO Hockey Hub Player of the Week revealed: April 11-16

Hub exclusive: We spotlight several HPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Player of the Week Winner

Anderson Stark, Chaparral. Stark stopped a season-high 47 of 48 shots (.979 save percentage) through overtime to force a shootout that Chaparral won to claim a 3-2 victory on April 15. Stark notched a 28-save shutout the next day against Arapahoe.

Player of the Week candidates

 

Truman Boettiger, Ralston Valley V2. Boettiger notched his first hat trick of the season 36 seconds into overtime to clinch the Mustangs a 4-3 victory over Mountain Ice V2 on April 15. He also had an assist for four points total.

Samuel Ingram, Longmont. Ingram tallied seven points, scoring five goals and adding two assists in a 10-6 win over Parker Knights on April 16.

Caiden Boucher, North Alliance. Boucher turned aside all 27 shots he faced in the first two periods, helping North Alliance clinch a 4-1 win over Rock Canyon on April 15. He finished the game with 38 saves and a .974 save percentage.

Cam Piggott, Longmont. The High Plains Hockey League’s leading scorer posted a season-high seven points (four goals, three assists) in a 9-2 drubbing of Greeley Freeze on April 15. He added another two goals and three assists against Parker Knights the next day, setting his season totals to 21 goals and 10 assists.
