And the winner is... CO Hockey Hub Player of the Week revealed: April 25-May 1

Hub exclusive: We spotlight several HPHL players who had outstanding performances. You choose which one was the best.

Player of the Week Winner

Seneca Urban, Coyotes East. Urban tallied three goals and three assists for a season-high six points in a 10-2 demolition of the Storm on April 29. 

Player of the Week candidates

 

Jaden Aguilera, Fossil Ridge. Aguilera struck early and often, notching a first-period hat trick with a pair of power-play goals in an 8-2 victory over Collins/Poudre on April 29.

Logan Hunter, Front Range Rangers. Hunter withstood an 18-shot barrage in the final period to protect his team’s lead and clinch a 5-2 win against Parker Knights on April 29. He finished the game with 40 saves and a .952 save average. 

Luke Brennan, North Alliance. With his team trailing by two goals entering the second period, Brennan notched a natural hat trick to swing the lead in North Alliance’s favor, which led to an eventual 6-5 comeback victory over Cherokee Trail on April 29.

Samuel Ingram, Longmont. Ingram turned in one of the strongest weekend performance’s this season, punctuated by a two-goal, five-assist outing in an 8-7 overtime victory over Arapahoe. He tallied seven goals and 10 assists in three games last week. 

Noah Winbourn, WLTV. Winbourn put forth a stalwart performance, stopping 50 of 51 shots as the centerpiece of a 2-1 win over Cherokee Trail on April 30.

Anders Morrison, Ralston Valley. Morrison shut the door on a Fairview team that scored a pair of goals to open the third period. He scored four unanswered goals in the final 13 minutes of regulation to help the Mustangs secure a 9-3 win over Fairview on April 30.

Carter Large, Mountain Militia. Cherokee Trail cut Mountain Militia’s lead to two goals before Large had his say on the matter. He scored three straight goals to close the middle period and put the game out of reach in an 8-4 victory on May 1.
