Nine of the top girls hockey players from Colorado secured invites to USA Hockey national development camps this summer.
The players were chosen after competing in the The Rocky Mountain District Player Evaluation Camp held May 13-15 in Irving, Texas. The district camp is one step in USA Hockey’s player development process, and the national camps are designed to advance the skills of players from across the country to be evaluated for national teams.
The Girls 16/17 (2006 and 2007 birth years) camp is June 25-July 1, and the Girls 15 (2007) is July 9-14. The Girls 15 Goalie Camp is June 6-9 and the Girls Under-18 Select (2005-2007) camp is July 15-21. All camps are at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
