Rampage Alumni, Josh Holmstrom, has signed with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL for the coming season.
Having played the last few seasons moving back and forth between the ECHL and AHL, the 28 year old will sign a contract with Bridgeport for the coming season.
A 6' 180lbs forward with good puck skills and sharp play making ability, Holmstrom plays a gritty game down low creating a strong forecheck.
Having played for the Rampage 18U team from 2006-2008, Josh netted a solid 58 points in 52 games before moving on to the USHL as an 18 year old. Josh played 2 years in the USHL for Sioux Falls Stampede before going on to play 4 years with UMass Lowell (ECAC). From there Josh has gone on to have a successful pro career in both the ECHL and AHL, with his eyes set on the NHL.
